Seaside Holidays in the 1950s

A short script based on a breakfast television "Morning News" magazine type programme. The topic this morning is "holidays" and two roving reporters are sent out to discover what holidays people took in the 1950s.
 
The material in this package is designed to help teachers fulfill the learning objectives of NC History ‘What were seaside holidays like in the past?’ It is designed for a class of 30 children and gives everyone the chance to say a line or two. If you have fewer than thirty you can re-assign some of the lines.
 
There are three songs: - one is about English seaside resorts, another about queueing in a cafe for an ice cream and the final one about the joys of train travel, seaside food, British summer weather and boarding houses!
 
Suitable for pupils from 7 to 11 years of age. Brand new for 2010.
Age Range: 7 - 11 years

Duration: About 15 minutes (with the songs)

Cast: It is designed for a class of 30 so that everyone gets one line
